Oven baked Butternut Squash sticks

I believe one of the best ways to eat vegetables is to bake them. This brings out the natural sweetness of the vegetables. The best part is kids love it too. Try it.
It's very simple and easy too.

1 medium Squash makes 3 to 4 servings.

Here's how to make them:

Preheat the oven to 210 C/ 420 F.

Line a baking tray with parchment for easy cleanup.

Wash the Butternut Squash. .

Cut in half and peel with a sharp knife being very careful.
Cut into strips not to thin.
Place them in a bowl, add salt, pepper, a splash of olive oil.
You could add other flavorings - such as paprika, garlic salt, balsamic vinegar, thyme, rosemary, ready made Potato seasonings - the list is endless.
Go with your taste buds.
Spread them on a baking tray lined with baking parchment.
Bake for about 10 to  15 minutes until soft and golden.
That's it.. Serve warm as a side dish.
Bon Appetite...

Thanks for stopping by.
