Oven baked Potato wedges

These make a great alternative to any deep fried french fries you want to avoid. It's great for kids with their Burgers and snacks too.

Here's how to make them:
Peel and wash as many potatoes as you need.
For the thin long potatoes, cut in half  and each half into quarters length ways.
The big fat potatoes cut in half first then each half into three length ways.
In the Microwave - Place them all in a microwave safe bowl. Heat in the microwave on high for 2 minutes, then toss them around and cook for another one minutes on high.

On the Stove top - Just place in a pot of boiling water and boil for approximately three minutes. Do not make them soft.  Drain and follow as below.

Add a tablespoon of Canola or olive oil, add salt, pepper and any seasoning you want.
Paprika, chilly peppers, mustard, ready made potato seasonings, garlic salt, garlic oil, lemon juice...any flavor you want!
Place them on a baking tray with parchment paper and bake for about 20 to 30 minutes turning them around once or twice as needed, until golden brown and crisp,
Mine took about 35 minutes. My kids like them just like so but I prefer them a tad more darker.
Here's my son's favorite lunch. Burgers with potato wedges and of course ketchup.
 Bon Appetite.

Thanks for stopping by.
